Why this site? 

This site was designed to inspire different ways of traveling in Nouvelle-Aquitaine and prove that more virtuous tourism is within everyone’s reach.
Our ambitions: 

  • Give ideas and inspire visits to discover what our destinations offer
  • Show concrete alternatives to “traveling far away,” equally enriching in terms of memories
  • Convince that staying in Nouvelle-Aquitaine means experiencing vacations connected to living things and focused on what’s essential
  • Encourage everyone to become an agent of change

WHO ARE WE?  

The Nouvelle-Aquitaine Regional Tourism Committee, an agency of the Regional Council, is the organization responsible for tourism development and promotion in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, in France and internationally.

Because we place sustainable development at the heart of our missions, our goal is to make Nouvelle-Aquitaine an exemplary destination where tourism rhymes with respect for our territory and its inhabitants.

We want Nouvelle-Aquitaine to shine as a modern and committed destination and convince you that staying with us is a promise of escape, choosing vacations connected to living things, inviting a return to essentials: feeling, reconnecting with yourself and nature, creating bonds and moments of sharing.

3 types of trips 

To inspire, facilitate organizing a responsible trip to Nouvelle-Aquitaine and demonstrate the feasibility of traveling differently, we invite you to discover the region’s committed offerings through: 

  • Inspirational Stays: they offer a range of responsible experiences and activities for everyone. You have a unique accommodation and explore around it
  • Low-carbon stays: they encourage traveling without a car, highlighting destinations where trains and local transport make it possible. They are built according to precise standards, based on recognized labels, guaranteeing a 100% sustainable experience
  • Inspirational itineraries: they offer several stops to set down your bags. These are creations by CRT Nouvelle-Aquitaine. Just as inspiring as other stays, the difference lies only in the itinerant aspect (loop or linear). They may suggest ideas where a car is necessary but in a reasoned way

Through this site, we want to surprise you and guide you toward unexpected and memorable experiences.

We are convinced that:

  • Escape and adventure are often within reach, and that a territory’s inhabitants should be its first ambassadors
